Frequently mentioned in historical sources as a cultural center, Hypaipa also stands out for its weaving and dyeing-focused production. It is said that the people who first lived in this region dyed threads with root dyes and that women wore transparent clothing. Masters, drawing inspiration from peaches, walnut shells, saffron, and plant roots to dye silk, later combined these colors with embroidery, bringing the fabric to life.
